In honor of NADA 2011 in San Francisco this February, I've put together a list of the top five moments from past years. This marks the 11th year I've been in the automotive industry and I'm proud to say I've been to almost every conference. Without further ado, the "top" five moments at NADA conferences of old: (Lawyers and HR personnel please excuse the below list).

5: Hanging in Ice bar with Jeff Kershner, Ralph Paglia and others at last year's NADA, clad in a big furry looking robe and shooting iced vodka.

4: Watching in disbelief as a booth babe gave shoe shines to attendees. The shoe shine wasn't a big deal, it was the low fitting top and the high perch of the onlookers. Add to this list the Marilyn Monroes, NY Yankee girls and any "bunnys"  in attendance. Come now, boys...

3: Almost knocking Editor Cliff Banks into the bushes outside of the Dealertrack party by flinging myself at him like a rocket. (This would have been # 1 if I'd actually managed to knock him off of his feet.)

2: Being escorted to the front of the line in front of the DealerTrack booth by the illustrious Jason Barrie to meet and get a picture with Football great Terry Bradshaw.  (And I didn't even have to Google his name for this one.)

1: My first NADA all the way back in 1999 when I realized the auto industry truly does put on the "party of the year" every NADA that rolls around.

Thanks for the memories and here's to many more in the years to come!!
